Little Justice Leaders
Originally ran Sundays, 9 am, September - October 2021
We encouraged your tiny justice warrior to zoom with us! We'd have a community discussion, and some activities, about the issues UU kids care about. Little Justice Leaders was based on a monthly subscription kit, and you can learn more here. However, there was no cost to sign up, thanks to a partnership with UU Congregation of Phoenix's Children's Ministry Program.
Facilitated by Vivienne Gelsinger, and her teaching assistant Janine Gelsinger, this group was meant for kids grades K-6th, but siblings and grown-ups of all ages could watch along, too.

UUJAZ Annual MeetingNovember 11th 2020, 6pm
Or anytime online! Missed our annual meeting? That's okay, you can watch anytime for a recap what we've done together as a state this year in justice work! Hear from the Board, share some financial transparency, and talk about 2021 ahead. Thanks to the pandemic, there wasn't an in-person Issues + Action Day this year, where this meeting is typically held. We didn't try to replicate a day-long event on Zoom... instead, we've been bringing you lots of virtual programming options throughout the summer and fall, and will continue to do so into 2021. Come watch what we've been working on behind the scenes! Watch here. |

Anti-racism and racial justice are core to our spiritual/religious values and taking action for justice and collective liberation is a way that we live our values, in our congregations, and in our communities. Racism works to divide us and maintain structural inequality. Racism works to undermine beloved community and undermine healthy and meaningful anti-racist efforts. This is a workshop to develop resilience, courage, and leadership for racial justice, rooted in the vision and values of liberation for all of us.
Join us for an interactive workshop with longtime social justice educator, author, and organizer, Chris Crass, one of the leading voices in the country calling for and supporting white people to work for racial justice. Whether you’ve been active for decades or a few days, this is an opportunity to develop a stronger culture of inspiration, resilience, and courage for racial justice. While one of the themes of the workshop is on white people working for racial justice, the overall theme of the workshop is on how we can build stronger racial justice values and action in our congregations and communities and the workshop is for all who want to do this work.
