About the Intersex Awareness Day graphic:
Jade Slyvan is a 2nd-year Mdiv candidate at Harvard Divinity School, and is currently a UUA Aspirant. Before pursuing their call to ministry, Jade found fulfillment and success as a writer, producer, performing artist, and teacher.

An Intersex Awareness Day Blessing by Jade Slyvan

May you know your body as home.
Each curve, each angle,
each organ, each chromosome.
Know that no one can tell you who you are;
no doctors, no paperwork,
no state-issued identification.
Their limited constructs are not you.
The Universe has made you perfectly.
If your wholeness challenges others,
let them grow and evolve
to receive your truth.
Your body is its own wisdom,
whole and holy, blessed and beautiful.

Blessed be.
